Why We Started Birchbury
Birchbury started with a simple frustration: shoes that looked professional never felt natural, and the ones that felt natural never looked professional.
Our founder, Matt, set out to design footwear with a wide toe box and a zero-drop sole — barefoot-shoe comfort in a shape you could wear anywhere — without having to explain your shoes to anyone.
Today Birchbury ships across New Zealand and Australia, still designed around that same idea: shoes that feel as good as they look.
